Warrap Health minister concluded official tour of the six counties ending with Tonj South.
Nyanwut Deng Mayen told Don Bosco Radio on Saturday that the visit was to evaluate and supervise county health centres and units, see health departments’ administration, listen to their issues and resolve some problems.
Minister Nyanwut cited a number of challenges including poor roads, shortages of drug, inadequate staff, poor infrastructures and lack of resources in the ministry.
The Minister Ms revealed finalizing a five-year strategic plan to have county hospitals in Gogrial East and Tonj East counties and build the capacity of staff by sending them for further trainings.
Minister Nyanwut commended Warrap Antenatal Care Ward in Tonj North is to be completed in April which she said would reduce a number of maternity problems.
