Central Equatoria Education Minister threatened to dismiss teachers who violate their professional code of conduct and engage in relationship with school girls.
Gombu Wani reminded teachers and thousands at Yei Freedom Square during the launch of ‘back to learning’ campaign that this time they would strictly follow legal steps against teachers accused of engaging and marrying school girls, Radio Easter reported.
He pledged to uproot traditions that deter girls’ interests from education to give them a chance to complete their learning.
