The Chaplain of Catholic Archdiocesan Youth Association while presiding over Saturday’s Eucharistic celebration at St Mary Cathedral Parish in Yambio invited Christians of Tombura-Yambio and pilgrims of Juba to imitate the life of the late Bishop Emeritus Joseph Gasi Abangite.

Fr Bazilio Lukudu said the pilgrims witnessed and are convinced that Bishop Gasi lived a holy life sacrificed for peace, Radio Anisa reported.

He urged the faithful to be strong because God loves them all.

Fr Lukudu prayed that the late Bishop Gasi continues to stay with them, believing that he is still living among his people.

He repeated that the faithful of Juba Archdiocese visited the shrine to pay respect and love to a grandfather from among the sons of the soil who lived well and dedicated himself to God.
