MEDICAL PERSONNEL TRAINED ON ACUTE FLACCID PARALYSIS

Personnel from medical centres in Juba and Terekeka Counties under went training on Acute Placid Paralysis (AP).

Talking to SCR News, George Aujenio Legge, manager of Expanded Programme on Immunization in Central Equatoria said the purpose of the training is to boost the performance of the medical officials while dealing with AP.

Mr. Legge explained that the training will help the officials to detect cases of paralysis and measles.

About 30 participants from Juba and Terekeka counties took part in the training.

The training will continue to the other four counties of Central Equatoria state.
