Speaker Ambrose Emmanuel Ocholimoi said people who did not wish South Sudan to be independent were spreading harmful ideas that the country would plunge into violence like war torn Somalia, Emmanuel Radio reported.
Mr. Ocholimoi stressed that it was a must that the rights of the people of South Sudan for self-determination would be exercised through a referendum next January.
The speaker added that the south would have the referendum even if the National Congress Party delayed border demarcations.
Mr. Ocholimoi appealed to the people of Eastern Equatoria state to unit in order to face the referendum challenges.
