National Legislative Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson recommended to the Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD mediators to reform South Sudan peace process to realize achievement.
Philip Thon Leek issued a statement on Monday saying if the process proceeds in the same way, the intended peace agreement would not be achieved in the future.
The statement describes the missed peace talk deadline as unfortunate.
The Foreign Affairs Committee Chairperson acknowledges IGAD’s efforts but that it has not yet produce the necessary result.
