James Wani Igga during the International Women’s Day celebration in Juba on Monday under the theme: ‘Make peace happen in South Sudan’, called for respect of women’s rights in the country.
Central Equatoria Gender and Social Development minister Mary Apayi Ayiga lamented that women are tired of war and now need peace so that they are not used as tools of war all over the country.
Minister Apayi urged citizens to pray for peace throughout the country to end war, rape cases, looting and gender-based violence.
