Community Empowerment for Progress Organization or CEPO Executive Director revealed a plan to protect journalists in South Sudan in collaboration.
Edmond Yakani said CEPO and the European Union are working mechanisms to protect media practitioners’ by addressing issues that expose journalists to risk in the country, Radio Bakhita reported.
CEPO’s January and February report indicated that five journalists were killed and others including media houses were threatened, limiting their work in the country.
