Christ the King Parish Priest of Yei Catholic Diocese advised South Sudanese to commit to prayers to get divine help in seeking peace despite the peace talks’ failure in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Fr Tom Poru Martin in his Sunday homily advised citizens not to get disappointed and loss hope, but draw close to God, Radio Easter reported.
He urged political leaders to use good politics that brings peace and development, lamenting that poor politics, greed and corruption highly contributed to the suffering of citizens.
The priest urged the congregation to focus on admitting sins, forgiveness and reconciliation during this Lenten season.
