Episcopal Church of South Sudan & Sudan or ECSSS Archbishop is rallying East African Churches to reinforce peace efforts in South Sudan.

Archbishop Daniel Deng Bul told journalists that South Sudan war has become a global matter that affects all races and that collective responsibility in bringing warring parties together for compromises is required.

The Archbishop consoles South Sudanese never to lose hope for peace despite the latest deadlock.

He believes that the widening difference between President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his former deputy Dr Riek Machar Teny must be compromised by all means for peace to prevail.

Archbishop Deng made the statement at Juba International Airport upon his return from Kenya where he had been meeting East African Churches and South Sudanese communities there.
