Wau striking police to receive two months’ salary, killings not accounted for

Western Bahr El-Ghazal Police Commissioner says police will get two months’ salary after a violent protest that claimed several lives.
 
Abraham Manyuat adds that the police will start receiving January and February salary soon and that the process of recovering June 2014 salary is ongoing, Voice of Hope reported.
 
He discloses that so far 400 thousand South Sudanese Pounds has been recovered from individual pockets who were trying to disappear with June 2014 police salary.
 
Commissioner Manyuat adds that the investigation to cover loses of lives and property following police protest is progressing.
 
The police commissioner is asking all Wau police men and women to report to their units to continue with normal duties.
