The Superior of the Missionary Sisters of the Immaculate expressed their readiness to join South Sudan efforts for peace and reconciliation.
Sister Marinei Pessanha Alves told CRN on Thursday in Juba that they would work with women to contribute to the realization of permanent peace in South Sudan.
Sister Pessanha said they are visiting Juba to resume collaborating with Solidarity with South Sudan project that they started in 2012.
The Missionary Sisters met a number of Catholic Church authorities in Juba to determine areas of collaboration.
