School teachers in Lakes State are complaining of low turnout of pupils during registration attributing it to lack of money and parents’ ignorance.
Malual-bab Primary School teacher in Rumbek Abton Mamur Malual told Good News Radio on Friday that “there is low turn up of pupils because many children and parents lack registration fees”.
He revealed that many parents are lacking constant maintenance of their children in school, urging them to support kids’ education.
Mr Mamur encouraged parents to stop school children from doing business during school days.
Another teacher, David Lual challenged South Sudan and Lakes State leaders of relaxing from providing quality education to take their children to study in East Africa.
He urged the leaders to deliver services quality education to all citizens of South Sudan.
Increasing of registration fees from 25 to 50 South Sudanese Pounds halted the poor people from taking their children to school.
