Rubena Ladu Timber Company operating in Loka Forest expressed readiness to implement its long term plan of ‘mass forest plantation’ in all the five Payams of Lainya County at the onset of the rainy season this year.
The Company’s Managing Director Malish Clinton told Lainya head chiefs in a meeting on Monday that the plantation is an environmental revolution and creation of employment opportunities in communities, Radio Easter reported.
Lainya County Paramount Chief Ibrahim Lokule said the community is ready to grant land to help it in the future.
Rubena Teak Company said each Payam would get four feddans of new teak plantation.
