Western Bahr El Ghazal Police personnel on Monday rocked Wau town with gunfire closing the main entrance to state police headquarter as they demonstrate demanding salaries of June 2014, January and February 2015.
The town witnessed guns roar in different locations around the headquarters from 1:00 PM up to 3:30 PM which led to the closure of main markets and caused citizens to panic, Radio Voice of Hope reported.

The source said their strike was not creation of insecurity in the town, but they are demanding their rights by peaceful means.
Police officers are calling on the national government to intervene in order to settle the issue.
