A person living with HIV in Yei River County called on citizens to know their status, advising those tested positive to seek treatment and live longer.
Moriku Penina revealed that she lives with the virus for over seven years now since her realization in 2008, Radio Easter reported.
County HIV AIDS Commission chairperson Chris Isa Gordon appealed to the people living with the virus to stop immorality in order to live longer.
The official said HIV infection is skyrocketing in the county with children under 14 years contributing to the number.
