Central Equatoria State Workers Trade Union Secretary-General said women could overpower men and lead South Sudan if they form a strong political party.

Wani Bini Stephen encouraged women to compete with men in other business only if they could come together and share resources and ideas.

He said if women form associations to empower them, they could undertake some sectors dominated by men including heavy businesses.

Mr Bini encouraged women to create funds for their higher education to upgrade themselves.
