Yei Catholic Diocesan Youth Chaplain on Friday during the beginning of first term mass at Saint Joseph Secondary School urged teachers and students to be humble and simple before God as they start their studies during the Lenten season.

Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit in his homily called on teachers and students to abide by the commandments of God and obey school rules and regulations, Radio Easter reported.

He appealed to teachers to be exemplary to students because they are the co-creators and prophets of today.

The priest also asked students and teachers to pray to God at this Lenten season to be forgiven and receive wisdom and knowledge.
