Paramount Chief calls for total peace in South Sudan

Juba County Paramount Chief appealed to political parties to bring and maintain lasting peace in South Sudan to end the suffering of the grassroots.
 
Dennis Daramollo Fundi the sideline of peace conference of 65 tribes of South Sudan in Juba on Tuesday, urged the Intergovernmental Authority on Development or IGAD to work hard to realize tranquility in the young country.
 
Professor Aggrey Abate questioned where the spirit of unity and love of 1972 and liberation struggle had gone, urging the warring parties to recall the history of South Sudan up to the time of independence.
 
Central Equatoria Governor Clement Wani Konga advised politicians wanting to become President or Vice President not to use force, but wait for elections.
 
The Governor stressed that forceful used of coming to power is incorrect and would bring chaos into the country.
