Yei Catholic Bishop on Ash Wednesday called on citizens to repent, forgive and pardon one another as they start the Lent season.
Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe told Christ the King Cathedral congregation to ask for pardon from God, embrace love and keep the spirit of sharing with the rest as Lord Jesus Christ taught in his ministry, Radio Easter reported.
Bishop Lodu also urged Christians to strengthen their hope in forgiveness of one another through Jesus than the earthly weaknesses.
Yei Catholic Diocese Secretary-General Fr Emmanuel Lodongo Sebit said lent season is time for Christians to prepare hearts, repent of their sins as they await the death and resurrection of Saviour Jesus Christ.
