Central Equatoria State government on Monday assessed Tore Payam education progress in Yei River County.
Physical Infrastructure Ministry Director-General John Bullen Lako said the schools in Tore Payam need addition and improvement in terms of teachers and structures, Radio Easter reported.
Payam Director Azariah Khemis Noah lamented poor and distance school structures is challenging education progress, forcing children to study half day during the rainy season.
The officials made the statements during a meeting between Payam stakeholders and the state government delegates in Tore.
