The new Juba Commissioner toured markets in the county to acquaint himself with their operating conditions.
Commissioner Thomas Peter Gore told SCR News that this morning he visited markets to see in what conditions traders operated.
Mr. Gore said the visit also intended to give moral support for the officials in the field.
Mr. Gore said he found the markets were dirty and called for the cooperation of payam directors to attend to the situation.
Juba County Commissioner revealed that his office would soon call companies involve in keeping Juba clean for a meeting to discuss ways to do a better job.
Mr. Gore said pit latrines and water purification could improve the county’s health scene.
He added that his office would ask companies to drill pit latrines in Juba.
