CES Education Minister announces opening of schools amidst challenges

Central Equatoria Education minister announced that the schools in the state start on Monday amidst challenges of few teachers and inadequate accommodation.
 
Gambu Wani Lotiyu told reporters on Saturday in Juba that schools were supposed to reopen on February but delayed for unknown reason, Radio Bakhita reported.
 
He said the challenges facing schools in the state is a collective responsibility of everyone in the country.
 
The minister vowed to recruit, train and retain professional teachers for quality education in the state.
 
He attributed the drop in the last month Primary Leaving Certificate exams results to lack of professional teachers.
