Tonj South Education Director in Warrap State on Friday announced that they would start manual school census in February and March for both public and private schools.
Samuel Mayiik urged head teachers to prepare needed data, Radio Don Bosco reported.
The Director explained that the exercise is not only for all schools in the county.
Mr Mayiik urged village schools’ head teachers and teachers to attend to their duties, saying teachers should show good examples to pupils of coming early to school.
The Director advised communities and chiefs to send their children to nearby schools because lessons started.
