Wuluturu residential area chairperson in Yei Municipality on Sunday called on the government and development partners to construct more boreholes to provide enough water for domestic use.
Samuel Baba said residents planned to lay bricks for the construction of Saint Bakhita church but lamented that inadequate water limited their efforts, Radio Easter reported.
He said landlords agreed to extend the church land from 150 by 150 to 200 by 200 meters square for it to conduct developmental activities.
The chairperson made the statements during the celebration of Saint Bakhita Day at the Chapel.
