South Sudan Interior Minister on Friday told Northern Corridor member states of Rwanda, Uganda and Kenya that government is seeking to achieve peace and security after a tough lesson of regret, remorse, reconciliation, rehabilitation and reintegration with victims or offenders by dialogue.

Aleu Ayieng Aleu says government believes it is a victim of misunderstanding and that government may be an offender, asserting that ‘self-criticism is appropriate’ in addressing peace and security.

The renowned controversial minister believes adopting regret, remorse, reconciliation, rehabilitation and reintegration lessons with the aid of neighbouring countries is the only way to peace and security.

Minister Ayieng argues that peace and security can not prevail without correctional justice, human development, good governance, freedom and order.

He also observes that freedom can only last when there is order in accordance with constitutional legal exercise, regulating freedom and order.

Northern Corridor Chairman also Rwandan Internal Security Minister Sheikh Karerimana Mussa Fazil says the Peace & Security Cluster meeting in Juba, South Sudan transforms conflict born nations with guerilla administration to good governance of state affairs.
