Central Equatoria State Youth and Sports’ Minister on Friday recommended women to form their own football associations excluding men to address their special needs.
Stephen Lado Onesimo told Yei residents that cooperation with development partners would avail support to various sports’ activities in the state, Radio Easter reported.
He suggested that every county should form associations even for the disabled.
Minister Lado believes sports’ associations promote unity from the grass root to the national level, citing possible interstate competition in sports with Unity or Warrap States.
The minister called on the local football associations to work with clubs to beef up progress.
He requested the business community, government and other development partners to rally support to sports’ development in the country.
