The three Governors of Equatoria delivered a letter to the Intergovernmental authority on Development or IGAD and Troika amongst others in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia demanding James Wani Igga to remain Vice President of the Republic.
Western Equatoria Governor Bangasi Joseph Bakasoro on Sunday told the press at Juba airport upon arrival from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that they would not want their decision changed in the proposal, Radio Bakhita reported.
He said they would continue to discuss if the IGAD insists that Vice President Wani Igga has to step down.
The Governor said stakeholders at the talks are expected to discuss on the document they delivered for Vice President Wani Igga to remain in his position.
