Undersecretary Michael Lopuke told journalists in Juba that the program would target ten thousand five hundred pupils in three states of Equatoria States and Lakes.
He said the initiative aimed at helping children in rural areas, orphans and the most destitute children in the communities who are unable to go to school due to one way or the other.
BRAC Country Representative Abu Bakar Sidique expressed commitment to work hand in hand with the Education Ministry and partners of South Sudan.
Mr Bakar said BRAC covered 442 primary and secondary government schools in Lakes State.
