Yei Commissioner attributes insufficient services to salaries delay

Yei River County Commissioner in Central Equatoria State said civil servants’ salaries delay contributes to insufficient service delivery.
 
Bidali Cosmas Wori-Kojo decried inadequate labor force to smoothen running of activities in their various departments, pointing out that few workers are only trained, Radio Easter reported.
 
He criticized poor structures and few offices for civil servants in their respective departments, compelling some workers to sit under trees during working time.
 
Lasu Payam Women Association Officer Marcelina Kolo called on the government and partners to establish girls’ boarding schools to keep them away from early pregnancies or drop outs.
 
She also called for the expansion of adult school education to enable married people go back to learn, appealing to the warring parties to end fighting and bring peace.
 
She asked for loan extension to women to boost their businesses and their agricultural activities.
