Inter-counties sports tournament on Sunday ended with Torit County beating Budi 2-1 in the opening match.
Mawa Emmanuel of Torit County scored the first goal at the 28th minute of the first half of match and Michael Sebit added the second goal at the third minute of the second half, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Tony Iko of Budi County scored the only goal for his team at 26th minute of the second half.
Budi also earned a yellow card during the inter-counties sports tournament opening match.
Youth and Sport ministry Acting Director-General Edvige Grato said the event that aims at uniting the youth for peace building attracted ten teams.
She disclosed that UNICEF offered 30 thousand South Sudanese Pounds, Forest Whitaker injected 20 thousand Pounds and the state government released 69 thousand Pounds to fund the tournament.
The acting Director counted United Nations Mission South Sudan among organizations and individuals that assisted the inter-counties competitions.
She noted that the tournament that was scheduled to take seven days is expected to end with various activities including netball, athletes and female football.
