Yei Mayor on Saturday condemned house burning at Lomuku residential area at around 4.00 AM reducing five houses to ashes.
Santo Paul Lasuba called on citizens to contact the joint operation forces for any rescue and to identify and arrest perpetrators, Radio Easter reported.
He recalled that the same incident occurred in 2012, creating hatred among communities.
County Police Inspector Colonel Jeremiah Maker Nai said no suspect was arrested in connection to the incident, but that they would carry out investigations.
One of the victims Rose Nyoka lamented that she awoke her sister and the children after their house was on fire.
