South Sudan Women’s Lawyer Association Legal Aid Officer on Friday said they are lobbying in the parliament for marriageable age for ladies to be defined in the permanent constitution.

Agum Ater Machek suggested that eighteen years should fit for marrying young women.

The Legal Aid Officer stressed that the marriageable age is a gab that needs to be included into the permanent constitution.

The lawyer advised citizens to stop early marriages, urging parents to send their children to school.
