Neighboring Counties surrounding Mundri West of Western Equatoria State on Thursday are expected to attend a peace conference aimed at reconciling indigenous farmers and the neighboring cattle keepers.

County Commissioner Lexson Mabruku told Radio Anisa that the conference would discuss and find out amicable solutions to issues of cattle raiding in Greater Mundri.

He reported that about 100 participants are expected from Greater Mundri and the bordering counties of Lakes, Jonglei and Central Equatoria States including some higher dignitaries from national and state governments.

He urged Western Equatoria citizens to pray for positive resolutions of the conference.
