Unknown gunmen attacked a village one kilometre way from Rumbek town killing one person and wounded three others.
One victim was shot in the chest, the second one on the shoulder and the third person was shot on the leg, Radio Good News reported.
They said some of the attackers were wearing police uniforms, others on civilians’ clothes and that after shooting them, the assailants ran way.
Rumbek Hospital medical doctor said one sustained serious injury, the other two have minor wounds and that they are working hard to ensure that the patient with a severe wound gets better.
The incident happened southeast of Rumbek town near Lakes State legislative Assembly.
