At least 19 suspects escaped Torit Central police detention facility on Sunday night.
Eastern Equatoria Police Commissioner Major General Edward Demitry Lukak told the press on Monday that the escapees were part of 25 suspects arrested from Loronyo, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Major General Demitry said security organs are tracing the culprits to be rearrested to face the law.
Torit County Commissioner German Charles Ojok condemned the escape of the suspects, describing it denial of justice for the victims of Loronyo massacre.
