Hundreds of mourners gathered at United Nation Mission in South Sudan or UNMISS Torit compound to pay tribute to Leticia Matei who passed away on Tuesday in Germany.
Fr Jackino Lomogo, while presiding over a memorial mass for the late staff, called on Christians to ask God to put her soul in his right hand side, Radio Emmanuel reported.
Recalling roles and advice offered during her lifetime, colleagues at UNMISS regret the death of Leticia and prayed that God guides her family and rest her soul in eternal peace.
Leticia Matei who passed away on January 6, 2015, served as Torit UNMISS’ Facility Management Assistant.
