Yei River County Traffic Police Director in Central Equatoria State on Wednesday reported that eight people died in motor and car accidents in 2014.
First lieutenant Martin Taban Santino said they recorded 14 people injured, calling on riders and drivers to reduce speed and desist from critical over taking, Radio Easter reported.
He advised riders and drivers to comply with the traffic laws, avoid driving under drugs and alcohol influence, appealing to pedestrians to move carefully on roads.
