Central Equatoria Governor recalled members of the State Transitional Legislative Assembly to vet the newly appointed ministers and commissioners.

State Assembly’s Information, Culture, Youth and Sports Committee Chairperson James Modi Lomindi on Monday told the press that Governor Clement Wani Konga recalled the state lawmakers from recess to scrutinize the new cabinet before assuming their offices.

He said the state legislators would in their extraordinary sitting on Thursday, evaluate the new appointees and approve those eligible.

MP Modi said the Governor appointees include the Deputy Governor Manasseh Lomole Waya, old and new ministers.
