The minister of health in Central Equatoria state has prioritized the rehabilitation of health facilities in the state.
Minister Emmanuel Ija Baya told SCR News that the rehabilitation would cut down on the number of patients flocking to Juba Teaching Hospital and el Saba Children Hospital.He noted that health facilities needed to be equipped with enough drugs and the necessary machines.
Dr. Ija explained that lack of well trained personnel hinderde the performance of the already existing health facilities.
Dr. Ija revealed that lack of space paralysed the initiative to establish more health facilities within Juba.
He said his office wouldl work with the minister for Physical Infrastructure and Housing to avail land for construction of more health facilities in Juba and surroundings.
