Yei Deputy Mayor on Thursday encouraged the local traders to apply for loans from the financial institutions.
Silvano Ali Sanguson told Radio Easter that the banks and the municipal authority agreed in a meeting on Wednesday to offer loans to the business community to expand their businesses.
He said they resolved to expand Lutaya, Ronyi, Mahad and Jansuk markets in 2015.
Mr Ali called for cooperation between the government, business sectors, churches and the local communities within the municipality.
The Deputy Mayor urged citizens to live in unity and denounced tribalism.
