WBG Governor tasks commissioners to restructure society

Western Bahr El Ghazal Governor tasked the three new Commissioners and the Mayor to re-structure the state society, revealing a plan of further cabinet reshuffle.
 
Rizik Zachariah Hassan while witnessing the swearing in of the Local Government actors, said the appointment of the commissioners was the first step and that ministers would follow soon as per 2015 plans, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
He thanked the outgoing commissioners for establishing county headquarters especially Jur River and Wau, calling for devising a new political approach.
 
Governor Zachariah instructed the three Commissioners to organized the newly established payams, strengthen the judicial systems at the local level and ensure that A and B courts are operational.
 
He revealed that the state government approved 700 thousand South Sudanese Pounds for the four boarding schools, directing the commissioners to ensure that the schools start admitting first years by February.
 
The Governor gave the Mayor six month ultimatum to evacuate the teachers’ dinning and residence and establish new municipal office, warning them against pocketing local revenue collections.
