Western Bahr El Ghazal Health Ministry Director-General revealed that International Medical Corp or IMC is expected to sign a contract for taking control of Wau Teaching Hospital in January 2015.
James Ukelo Morgan said IMC will provide doctors, medical supplies and constant electricity to the hospital, Voice of Hope reported.
He said challenges encountered in 2014 would not be repeated in 2015, saying the Hospital would witness great changes including the blood bank.
The Director-General lamented that Wau Teaching Hospital could not handle the big population in need of medical services due to shortage of doctors and nurses.
He said the organization will work hand in hand with the Hospital administration on the need of the community.
