Morobo Commissioner in Central Equatorial State said Christmas celebration in the county is peaceful, asking citizens to pray for peace in the nation.
Moses Simon Soro said citizens are celebrating in peace, starting with prayers on Wednesday night, stressing the need for total peace and freedom to boost development, radio Easter reported.
He encouraged Christians to pray for citizens in internally displaced camps, refugees so that they enjoy Christmas next year at home.
Commissioner Soro advised citizens to avoid too much drinking of alcohol, riding motor bike while drunk and properly care for their children.
