SPLM addresses God to usher harmony in South Sudan

SPLM Acting Secretary-General on Tuesday recited a prayer asking God to bring harmony amidst conflict, unity amidst division, understanding amidst strife and joy amidst sorrow in the country.
 
Ann Itto also asks God’s intervention in bringing hope to South Sudan amidst despair, happiness amidst grief, love amidst hatred and food for the hungry amidst biting famine.
 
She wishes Christmas to be a time for sharing meals with friends, families and the poor.
 
Dr Itto appeals to South Sudanese masses to embrace grace, love, peace, forgiveness and unity of purpose to heal and reunite for prosperity in 2015.
 
She recalls how long it took compatriots to achieve South Sudan nation and that it was through unity of purpose and strength that independence was attained.
 
The Acting Secretary-General hopes South Sudan peace talks in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia though at stake now and Arusha, Tanzania SPLM intra-party dialogue would ensue in reconciliation for peace and prosperity.
