Interior Minister urges WBG to review business contracts

The Interior Minister called on Western Bahr El Ghazal State government to raise its own revenue as the country looses million Dollars in the oil market.
 
Aleu Ayieny Aleu said the state government should impose its local taxes to all Telecommunications and other businesses contracted by the national government and tap the millions Pounds that remained uncollected, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
Mr Ayieny said WBGS has to review contracts of all businesses locally to ensure that none is left untaxed to generate its own revenue.
 
The minister encouraged the people of Western Bahr El Ghazal to initiate their own investment by making use of the available natural resources like the clay soil for constructions which serves well than buying expensive cement.
 
The Minister called for strengthening of law enforcement agents to ensure that every citizen feels secure and does not think of rebellion.
 
He commended that it is upon the people of Western Bahr El Ghazal to choose to remain peaceful or destroy their own development by embracing rebellion.
 
The Interior Minister made this remark during security briefing Monday at the state secretariat.
