CEPO calls for compromise on power sharing

Community Empowerment Organization or CEPO Executive Director called on negotiations delegates to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia talks to compromise on power sharing to realize peace in the country.
 
Edmond Yakani told the media in Torit on Wednesday that the warring parties lack commitment and honesty to peace because of continuous violations, Radio Emmanuel reported.
 
Likening the ongoing talks to Comprehensive Peace Agreement, the Executive Director said wealth and power sharing still remain a challenge to peace in the country.
 
He added that compromise and accommodating demands of each other would speed up achieving peace in the country.
 
Mr Yakani also called on the two parties to listen to the voice of South Sudanese who are helplessly waiting for the peace.
