Payam Administrators from the ten Counties in Western Equatoria State in collaboration with Yambio County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday inspected Yambio town market.
Yambio Chamber of Commerce Deputy Chairperson John Daniel Apollo told Radio Anisa that the inspection that took place in Masiya, Sug Pazuo and Yambio town open markets was to monitor the sanitation and hygiene of the trading places.
Traders in Yambio decried high rate of hard currency exchange in the market, forcing commodity prices to increase and local people cannot meet their needs.
Yambio County Commissioner Kuzee John Elia instructed the administrators to thoroughly inspect and ensure that the market is clean.
A reliable source said the Payam Administrators from all Counties of Western Equatoria are in Yambio for training on inspection procedures and how to deliver quality services to their citizens.
