Wau Catholic schools announce unified exams results

The administration of Wau Catholic Diocese Schools on Tuesday announced the results of the unified exams of primary five, six and seven.
 
Catholic School Administrator Kasiano Rudolf while addressing the pupils said the objective of the unified exams was to widen education for learners and put top priority to encourage them to have quality education, Radio Voice of Hope reported.
 
He said it also aims at developing competent people who contribute to socio-economic growth based on gospel values.
 
Mr Rudolf declared top ten pupils of three classes and that primary five in Holy Family School occupied five positions of the first top ten.
 
He revealed that in primary six St John Paul II and Holy Family Schools scored four positions plus St Raphael and Holy Trinity Schools.
 
Mr Rudolf explained that in primary seven St John Paul II and St Raphael led the top five positions.
 
Head teachers representative Zephrino Thomas called upon parents to take full responsibility of their children both at homes and schools.
 
Wau Catholic Diocesan Administrator Fr Romano Mongo advised pupils to study hard to become good future leaders of South Sudan, adding that learners of Catholic schools must act according to Catholic values, rules and regulations.
 
One thousand pupils from St John Paul II, Holy family, Holy Trinity, St Michael and St Raphael Primary Schools sat for the unified exams.
