Tombura-Yambio Catholic priest, who celebrated English mass at St Mary’s Yambio Parish on Sunday, advised all faithful to prepare their hearts for Christmas.
Fr Benjamin Wasi said preparations that the Gospel emphasised on during the season of Advent implores cleaning of hearts to receive Christ, not buying of new clothes or shoes as misunderstood by some people, Radio Anisa reported.
He stressed that good Christians pray hard in their journey to receive Christ and that part of the preparation should be caring and loving the poor or those neglected in the society.
Fr Wasi described the nativity of the Lord as salvation for all believers.
